28. I went to a bookstore. There was a big crowd of people there and the staff was being very overworked. I went to a clerk and asked for the Steve Jobs autobiography and then corrected myself and said biography. They brought me a book and I noticed that it only went to 1970 (when he would have been 15) but I decided to go ahead and buy it. The clerk handed it to me but I said "no I haven't paid yet" and handed them my card. Finally got my book and started home but then I pulled it out of the bag and it was a Nixon biography instead. I took it back to the store and there were no people, no stacks of books, and the staff accused me of being a troublemaker.
29. Everybody was riding bicycles everywhere (on the highway). There were big cubes that were mobile libraries. An elevator would take you up from the door. I arrived at my hotel and was thinking I needed to return an item to the mobile library but then I thought I could just take it to the library in the lobby.
